This book has been requested for years: Nuppu’s children’s clothing book! Whether you sew for your own children, grandchildren, or as gifts for friends' kids, in this book you will find lovely patterns for toddlers and young children. Most of the patterns in the book are previously unpublished, but refined and tested over the years – maybe you have seen them as Nuppu’s sample garments. Also included are the most popular children’s patterns from previous Nuppuzine books, some slightly modified.

The clothes in the book are comfortable and easy to play in – children need to be allowed to be children! Most of the patterns are equally suitable for girls and boys. The designs avoid overly complex cuts and are instead designed particularly well for patterned fabrics.

The book includes patterns for all the essential basic garments for the whole year. Made from jersey, you'll find short- and long-sleeved t-shirts, a collared shirt, leggings, and three different dresses: an A-line, a circle skirt dress, and a yoked dress. When warmer clothes are needed, there are two types of sweatpants, a hoodie tunic, a sweatshirt, and a zip hoodie, with a softshell jacket version also included. Overalls and playsuits are available for every occasion: short-legged summer jersey playsuits or pajamas, stretch sweatshirt overalls, and softshell overalls.

With the designs in this book, you can assemble everyday daycare outfits as well as party clothes. Woven fabrics haven't been forgotten either: thin cotton sateen creates a pretty party dress, and muslin turns into either a ruffled dress or a shirt and shorts set. Linen or plain weave fabric can be used to make neat straight-leg trousers or shorts. And, of course, the most wonderful party skirt is made of tulle!

The patterns in the book cover sizes 74–116, meaning the clothes fit approximately 1 to 6-year-olds. There are 20 patterns in total, and with different variations, there are nearly 30 different garment designs. Some of the patterns are simple basic sewing patterns suitable for beginners and quick to complete. Other garments, however, require a bit more familiarization.
