Price history
Bella’s long-awaited skort pattern is finally available as a paper pattern! Now in Finnish, soon in Swedish too!

The skirt has a wide flared hem and a high waist band. Hidden under the skirt are shorts, to which you can optionally add handy pockets — the same as in the Neitokurki training leggings. The skort is a perfect garment for cycling, dance class, or the beach!

A great fabric choice for the skort is sports jersey — either soft or sleek. A skirt made from sports jersey doesn't need hemming at all, unless you to to do it! The skort can also be made from regular cotton-elastane jersey. In that case, be sure not to choose too small a size, since regular jersey doesn’t stretch as much as sports jersey. Sports jersey is, however, firmer.

The pattern is available in sizes 32–58.

The pattern includes sewing instructions as well as fabric consumption and measurement tables.

You’ll find the fabric consumption below — if you want to order the fabric in the same package!

You may use the patterns when sewing for yourself, as gifts, or for charity. For commercial use you need a sales license.

How much fabric do I need?
The fabric consumption is calculated for sports jersey, which does not shrink during a potential pre-wash. If you make the skort from regular jersey, please take shrinkage into account and buy about 10% more fabric.
